She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Otho Burkhalter and Hazel David; her son Jeffrey Trahan; and her brothers, Dallas Burkhalter, Lynwood Burkhalter and Louis Burkhalter.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Trahan (Tutti) and Julie Faulkner (David); her grandchildren, Jessica Trahan, Jason Trahan, Blake Trahan, Shelbi Trahan, Emily Woodard, Chris Semar, Aubrey Hager, Aaren Faulkner and Haley Faulkner; and her sisters, Sharon Cobb and Audrey Broussard. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
