He is survived by: his wife Ruth Vidrine Petry; his siblings, Thelma Whited (William), George Petry (Annelise) and Winston Petry (Becky); and his siblings-in-law, C. A. Vidrine, Glennella Bowers and Twila Hixon (Ed). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
