He is survived by: his mother Mary Aurelia Colbert of Lafayette, Louisiana.; his sons, Casey Perkins (Olivia) and Cayden Perkins; his siblings, Haskell Perkins, Burman Perkins, Martin Perkins and Miranda Perkins Hobson; and his uncle Alton Perkins of Scott, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and loving friends and family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Syrie Funeral Home, Inc. (1417 E Simcoe St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (145 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Lafayette, LA 70501).
