She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling Adam Mayard and Daisy Broussard; and her sister Gwen Bazar. She is survived by: her husband Kevin; her children, Emily (Josh Hebert), Kate (Brady Aymond) and Kyle Bernard (Kristina); her grandchildren, McKenna, Brooklyn, Meredith, Rory, Lincoln, Maeve and Grant; and her siblings, John, Charles, Marianne, Felice, James, Thomas and Marcelle. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand (1011 Bertrand Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506). A rosary was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Delhomme's Chapel of the Flowers (1011 Bertrand Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Catherine's name to Hospice of Acadiana (https://hospiceacadiana.com), or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
