With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Edward Wallace of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in White Castle, Louisiana, who passed away on June 19, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Dawson Wallace and Ruth Cancienne Wallace. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Wallace; his siblings, Steve Wallace (Lisa Wallace), Jim Wallace (Melody Wallace), Katherine Wallace Johnsen (Andy Johnsen) and Jeff Wallace (Connie Wallace); his daughter Nicole Wallace Trillo; his son-in-law Che Trillo of El Paso, TX; his son Phillip White of Greensboro, NC; and his grandchildren, Elias Trillo, Cora Trillo, Shannon Bryant and Sydney White. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, and 14 great-nieces and nephews.
