It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Moore of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alfred Moore, Jr. and Alice Beatrice Caulking Moore; and his brother Samuel'Sam'R. Moore. He is survived by: his wife Melber Woods Moore of Lafayette, LA; his children, Micah C. Moore (Vicki Price) of Mandeville, LA and Heather Moore Wickstrom (Jack E. Wickstrom) of Mansfield, Texas; his brothers, William'Bill'A. Moore (Virginia) of Lafayette, LA and Robert'Bob'Caulking Moore (Betty) of Niceville, Florida; his grandchildren, Whitney Moore, Matthew Moore, Landon Wickstrom, Andrew Wickstrom and Patrick Wickstrom; and his great grandchildren, Rylie Wickstrom and Teagan Wickstrom. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
