He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Morris and Gussie Charles Morris; his siblings, Albert Jr., Horace Sr., Howard Sr. Morris, Corrine Morris, Rita Brown and Emily Johnson; and his grandparents, Corrine and Henry Charles Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Morris of Cecilia, LA, Daniel Benjamin of Dallas, TX, Keila Martin of Breaux Bridge, LA and Lequanda Smith of Church Point, LA; his brother Paul Morris of Parks, LA; and his goddaughter Jacqueline Johnson of Parks, LA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Syrie Funeral Home (1417 E Simcoe St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A rosary will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Louis Chapel (1034 Bridge St, Parks, LA 70582).
