She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Kidder and Georgia Kidder; her brother Roderick Kidder; her aunts and uncles, Dale and Shirley Taylor; and her close friend Nancy Lemarie.
She is survived by: her husband John Collins; her daughters, Stephanie Collins and Angela Collins (Paul Sanchez); her sister Darlene Plaisance (Vernon Doucet); her grandchildren, Taylor and Tyler Plaisance; and her nieces, Rachael Kidder and Renaye Delino. She is also survived by many loving family members, friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home of Arnaudville (224 Main St, Arnaudville, LA 70512). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Francis Regis Catholic Church (232 Main St, Arnaudville, LA 70512).
