She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Johnson; her father James Caver Sr.; her grandparents, George, Ella Caver, Ervin and Fannie Pitts; and her uncles, Ervin Pitts Jr., John "Puddin" Pitts, Ellis Pitts, Zarovsky Pitts, George Caver Jr., Arthur Lee Davis and William Caver.
She is survived by: her children, Darius "Dutt" Johnson of Lafayette, LA, Antoine "AJ" Prejean of Lafayette, LA and Shameka Chevis (Walter) of Duson, LA; her mother Vinola Caver; her siblings, Fanette Davis of Alabama, Belinda Caver-Ballard (Osborne Ballard Jr.) of Tennessee, James Caver Jr. (Beverly) of Missouri, Jerome Caver (Anita) of Missouri, Michele "Dawn" Champagne of Lafayette, LA and Angelea Browning (Tim) of Alabama; her aunts, Annie Love and Mary Burney; her uncle William Pitts Sr.; her grandchildren, Dariyone Johnson, Damyen Rochon, Maylan Johnson, Malachi, Elijah and Heaven Chevis; and her godchild Qunicy Asberry. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
