He is survived by: his wife Lynn Fontenot; his children, Christopher L. Fontenot, Isaac Landry, Mackenzie Fontenot, Yvette Fontenot, Alma Fontenot, Breia Fontenot and Sadie Fontenot; his mother Yvette Melancon; and his siblings, David Fontenot (Lona), Corey Melancon (Nicole) and Kimberly Menard (Donald). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
