We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2023, at the age of 75, Claris Bonnet Sr. of Lafayette, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Bonnet, Sr. and Mary Louise Broussard Bonnet; his siblings, Curly Bonnet, Albert Bonnet, Jr., Junius Bonnet, Evadelle Bonnet VanWright and Mary Ruth Bonnet Melancon; and his niece Temetria Smith Charles.

He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Carsyn and Fabian; his wife Susan Richard Bonnet; his children, Claris Bonnet, Jr. (Katy), Malaine Rene Bonnet and Monica Michelle Bonnet Coleman (Jason); and his siblings, Wilfred Bonnet (Cecile) and Cecilia Bonnet of Lafayette. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren.
