He was predeceased by: his wife Ederle "Dale" Doucet; his children, Mitchell W. Doucet and Rita Doucet; his siblings, Richard Doucet, Alexander, Doucet, Jr., Vivian Hebert and Maybell Raspberry; and his parents, Alexander Doucet and Julia Faulk Doucet.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Doucet (Marilyn) of Lafayette, Pam (George "Bucky" Crowson) of Lafayette and David (Tessie) of The Woodlands, Texas; his grandchildren, Brandy Doucet Brewer, Justin Doucet, Hannah Crowson Eubanks, Victoria Crowson, Camden Doucet and Melina Doucet; his great grandchildren, Claire Brewer Miguez, Garrett Brewer, Raylan Eubanks, Adalynn Eubanks, Lakelynn Eubanks, Wyatt Eubanks, Mackenzie Doucet and Jaxon Doucet; and his sister Betty Monceaux of Morse.
