With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Craig Joseph Oliver in Lafayette, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2025 at the age of 66. Though Craig may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Craig touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Oliver, and Angela Stutes Oliver, Jr.; and his brother Robert Chet Oliver (Cynthia). He is survived by: his brother Curt David Oliver of Lafayette; and his niece Morgan Kathryn Oliver (Madeline Elise Oliver) of Crowley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home (301 N Ave F, Crowley, LA 70526). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Geesey-Ferguson Chapel (301 N Ave F, Crowley, LA 70526).
