He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Catherine Holcomb (Tommy Gegenheimer), John Provost, Mary Lee Sherlock (John) and Christine Myers (David); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Kounalakis (George), Mary Catherine Holcomb, Kenneth Holcomb, Vincent Holcomb, Lee Holcomb (Laura Leigh), Mary Grace Dartez (Thomas), Christopher Sherlock (Cole Catherine), Thomas Myers and John Patrick Myers; his great grandchildren, Theodora Kounalakis, Anne Marie Dartez and Cyrus James Dartez; and his caregivers, Evelyn, Gail, Monica, Bobby, Cindy, Tammy, Crystal and Teracita of Hope Hospice.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (415 Robley Dr, Lafayette, LA 70503). A Mass was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
