He is survived by: his son Daniel James (Sandra Handschin) of Brunswick, Georgia; his wife La Juana Handschin; his children, Gina Davidson (John) of Lafayette and Jason Handschin (Jennifer) of Broussard; and his grandchildren, Troy Efthemes, Zack Efthemes, Gregory Bouchereau, Katlyn Meadows (Wesley) of Sterling, Kansas, Keegan, Konner Handschin of Broussard, Pixan and Mike Bouchereau.
