He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Wood, Sr. and Alice Wood; and his in-laws, Elford and Hazel Guillory (Reed). He is survived by: his wife Patsy Wood (Pat); his daughters, Michelle Wood-Meyers (Huey Meyers) of Lafayette and Danielle Courreges (Bobby) of Youngsville; his son-in-law Patrick Courreges; his grandchildren, Nicholas Armentor (Whitney), Kaleigh Louviere (Jason), Rowan Wood (Alex Sutherlin) and Christopher Courreges; and his great grandchildren, Madden, Milani, Kreed, Ivy Louviere, Ellie and Ezra Armentor.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Daniel Wood's memory, to Hospice of Acadiana and the Calcutta House.
