He is survived by: his mother Ira Nell Gay of Melville; his children, Gavin Shouse of Hurst, TX and Brooklyn Marie Jenkins; his uncle Terrel Gay; and his aunts, Brenda Gay Lavergne and Emma Gay Bertrand.
