Black Jr. of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in Crowley, Louisiana, who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father David Hebert; his wife Cynthia Matte Black of Lafayette; his sons, David E. Black III of Carencro and Brennon J. Black (Heather Nicole Black) of Carencro; and his sisters, Bonnie Johnson of Monroe, Mildred Black of New Orleans and Anna Lee Black Hoffpauir of Lake Charles.
