He was predeceased by: his son Kristofer Clayton Phillips; and his brothers, Joseph Daniel, Robert Samuel and Henry Charles Phillips. He is survived by: his parent Clayton Lomax; his wife Randi Gail Smith-Phillips; his children, Steven David Phillips (Han Mi) and Katherine Michelle Phillips (Justin); his grandsons, William Phillips and Zachary Phillips; his siblings, Leo (Pearl), Frank (Linda), Carolyn (Verlon Frost), Eddie (Linda), Harry (Amanda) and Sylvia (David Payne); Edna Malinda Davis Phillips. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
