He is survived by: his children, Amanda Hebert of Lake Arthur, Tara Wainright of Lake Arthur, Jessica Goff (James) of Rusk Texas, Dawson Allen Wainright IV (Meghan) of Houston Texas and Jonathon Wainright (Jayce) of Tacoma Washington; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Jayla, Lylah, Issac, Brianna, Michael, Braiden, Kimberly and Maren; his siblings, Molly Wainright Williams, Cathy Wainright Beaty (Joe) and John Jonathan Wainright; and his nieces and nephews, Roger, Melissa Boyle, Byran, Renee Boyle, Vicki, Lance Drews, Scotland Albarado, Joe, Melanie Beaty and Jonathan David Wainright. He is also survived by his three great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Cypress Funeral Home & Crematory (206 W Lafayette St, Maurice, LA 70555).
