She was predeceased by: her parent Fannie Mae Colvin Johnson; and her brother Randy G. Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Cedric Joseph Broussard; her children, Gregory W. Knight (Beth) and Stacy L. Knight (Shawn Albert); her stepdaughter Kay L. Broussard; her grandchildren, Alexa Knight, Delaney Knight, Dustin Fontenot and Ross Fontenot; and her siblings, Dale Johnson (Aggie) and Janice J. Crowe (Steve).
