With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dolores Gerrard Shipley of Lafayette, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2025 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her husband Beryl Shipley; her son-in-law Bill Watson; and her siblings, Dennis, Hal Gerrard, Mary DeLoach and Patty Walker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Shipley Watson, Patty Shipley Snyder (David) and Amy Shipley Cowand (Scott); her grandsons-in-law, Jesse, Christopher, Matthew Cowand, Wade Watson, Rob Rubel, Gael Carlson and Matthew Case; and her caregivers, Lori Carol Guidry, Crissy Guillory, Melissa Griffin and Bethany. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, along with numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
