We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2022, at the age of 78, Donald Bernard Sr. of Lafayette, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Bernard and Ethel Barnhill Bernard; his former wife Vicki Cox Bernard; and his siblings, Rosemary Groves, Jeanine LeBlanc, Phil, Michael and Kevin Bernard.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Ann Credeur Bernard; his children, Donovan "Donnie" Bernard and Deon Fontenot; his sons-in-law, Donny Fontenot, Michael, David and Donald; his grandchildren, Sky Bernard, Donovan Murr, Asher Foreman, Victoria "Gracie" Fontenot and Gabrielle Fontenot; and his siblings, James Bernard, Dr. Gordon Bernard, Irma "Pookie" Ann Gonzales and Patricia "Ruthy" Phillips.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Pius X Church and the Calcutta House.
