It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald E. Johnson Jr. of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sharon Johnson Decker, Robert Johnson, Roger Johnson, Bruce Johnson and Richard Johnson; his nephew Ricky Johnson, Jr. (Johnson); and his parents, Donald E. Johnson, Sr. and Irene Moeller Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy E. Rashid Perrin Johnson; his daughters, Kristyn Perrin Roche (Randy), Ali Johnson Brabner (Tony), Jackie Johnson Quoyeser (John) and Katie Johnson Comeaux (Duane); his grandchildren, Andrew Roche (Liew Chien), Michael Roche, Gabby Brabner, Nick Brabner, Lauren Quoyeser, Ellie Grace Quoyeser and Jacob Russett (Madi); his great grandchild Myles Roche; his sons-in-law, Randy Roche, Tony Brabner and John Quoyeser; and his caregiver Christen. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in his honor.
