He was predeceased by : his parents, Edith Francis Valliere and Joseph Cuba Valliere Sr.; his grandparents, Irving Sr. and Nora Andrus Francis; his godmother Alodia Francis; his aunts and uncles, Senora Charles, Julia Frederick, Anna Lee Joseph, Irving Francis Sr., Dalton Francis Sr., Jonas Francis, Milton Francis, Joseph Francis Sr., Clayton Francis, Roland Francis and Linton Francis; his parents-in-law, Felias Francis and Anna Francis; and his sister-in-law Gloria Dugas.

He is survived by : his wife Rose Francis Valliere; his children, Rhonda Gordon (Manuel) of Phoenix, AZ, Tiffany Francis of Lafayette, Matthew Valliere (Carmen) of Zachary, LA and Donald Valliere Jr. (Jaimie) of McKinney, TX; his grandchildren, Paige, Destinee, Olivia, Ashton, Evan, Deion, Addison and Ryleigh; his great grandchild Kamen; his siblings, Robert Valliere (Cynthia) of Lafayette, LA, Charles Valliere (Jackie) of Cedar Hill, TX, Joseph Cuba Valliere Jr. of Carencro, LA, Daniel Valliere (Felicia) of Carencro, LA, Carl Ricky Valliere of Lafayette, LA, Pamela Green (Donald) of Austin, TX, Rachael Dugas (Chris) of Lafayette, LA, Renee St (Patrick) and Bedelia St (Joseph); his aunts, Dorothy Cormier of Houston, TX, Brenda Duhon and Dorita Augustine of Lafayette, LA.; and his godchildren, Patrick Valliere Sr., Shrell Sam, Brandon Cormier, Jared Francis and Tyler Welsh.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 5PM – 8PM at Kinchen Funeral Home in Lafayette, LA located at 1011 N. St. Antoine St. and from 9AM – 11AM on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Trinity CME Church in Lafayette at 604 Lee Ave. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Social Distancing Policies the funeral services will be private.
