He was predeceased by: his mother Jeannette O'Rourke. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen O'Rourke of Arnaudville; his stepchildren, Angela Rosenberry (Bubba) of Iowa, LA and Daniel Callais of Hayes, LA; his father Donald O'Rourke Sr. of Lafayette; and his sisters, Charlene O'Rourke (Dean Breaux) of Lafayette and Donna Angelle (Richard) of Lafayette. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren; and thirteen step great-grandchildren.
