He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernice Wilks and Rodney John Wilks; and his brother Gary Wilks. He is survived by: his wife Monica Wilks of St. Martinville; and his sons, Blaine R. Wilks of Alexandria and Brad Collins Wilks (Brittainy) of Alexandria. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
