She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Howard Guidry, Edith Mire Guidry, Oliver Wright and Louise Thibodeaux Wright; her father Calvin Guidry, Sr.; her brother Calvin Guidry, Jr.; and her granddaughter Camryn Ann-Louise Cockrell.
She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Skipper; her sons, Christopher (Kasey) and Jalen Cockrell; her granddaughter Harmani James; her stepchildren, Shanelle Skipper, Starlyn Skipper, Terrence Skipper and Tangela Saul-Williams; her mother Shirley Wright Guidry; and her siblings, Kimberly Guidry, Sherelle Guidry-Jones (Keith), Carla Walters (Jamal), Reginald Harris, Garland Bolden and Carlos Bolden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior's Church (1201 E Broussard Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
