It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Stockstill Odom of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Stockstill and Maggie McPherson Stockstill; and her sister Barbara Hardman. She is survived by: her husband James Odom of Lafayette, LA; her children, Jim Odom (Roechell) of Spring, Dan Odom (Maryanne) of Dallas, Texas and June Odom Jefcoat (John) of Scott, LA; her grandchildren, Johnae Jefcoat-Broussard (Dylan), Jacob Jefcoat (Brittany), Clint Odom (Christina), Shannon Odom, Erin Odom, Will Odom, Olivia Odom and Chris Odom; her great grandchildren, Eden Jefcoat, Noelle Jefcoat, Navy Jefcoat and James Broussard; and her caregivers, Shameikia Warren, Symone Boutte, Bonnie Bernard and Terria Senegal.
