She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Broussard Sr. and Celesta Williams Broussard; her grandmother Modeste Williams; her former husband Samuel Comeaux; her siblings, Horace Jr., Willie, Arthur Broussard, Beverly Ernest, Veronica Auzenne, Esther Bodie and Iona Broussard; and her siblings-in-law, Johnny Dean Sr., Prince Bodie, Clinton Comeaux, James Reed, Frank Johnson Sr., Jerry Comeaux, Robert Reed, Donald Ray Buckner Sr., Ella Mae Reed, Audrey Reed and Loula Mae Harris.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael and Rodger Comeaux; her grandchildren, Micheri Amour, Kayla Rae, Rodneisha, Deandra, Anastasia, Sherell, Kamryn, Janiyah and Emmalie; her great grandchild Kyian Royal; and her siblings, Eddie Broussard (Tina), Anthony Broussard (Hope), Patrick Broussard, Ovalton Broussard (Becky), Hayward Broussard (Carla), Ray Broussard, Celesta Dean, Sharmaine Broussard and Denise Green (Robert). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Syrie Funeral Home (1417 E Simcoe St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A rosary will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
