He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Martin and Julia Babineaux Martin; and his siblings, Wilfred, Elmo, Hector, Llyod, Gilbert, Ferris Martin, Yolan Frank, Florenace Babineaux, Rena Francis and Elzina Leblanc.
He is survived by: his children, Kourtneii Martin Henderson (David) of Lafayette, Louisiana and Eric J. Martin Jr. of Richmond, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Shermaine Siner, Andre'Benton, Elcobie Siner (Alicia) of Lafayette, Louisiana, David "DJ" and Kohen Henderson. He is also survived by grandchildren, godchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
