He is survived by: his wife Maureen Dyess; his daughters, Yvette Lorentz Ferrari (Peter) of Lafayette and Denise Lorentz Stagg of Lafayette; his brothers, Brian Lorentz (Debbie Feran) of Metarie and Charles Lorentz (Sandra) of Luling; his grandchildren, Dominique Lorentz Foster (Trey Foster) of Prairieville and Jude Alexander Stagg of Lafayette; and his great grandchildren, Asher Wayne Foster and Livy Marie Foster.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (415 Robley Dr, Lafayette, LA 70503). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, June 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
