She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Mitchell Semere; her parents, Mary Celestine and Antoine Derouselle; and her sisters, Alice Augustine and Patricia Derouselle.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Semere, Lovinia Champagne (David Champagne), Olivia Semere (Allen Tennis) and Andrew Semere (Shelly Semere); and her grandson Joshua Steward (Shakketta Steward). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; four sisters; one brother; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Syrie Funeral Home from 12:00 p. m. until 2:00 p. m. All those in attendance must wear a mask or face covering.
