He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta Meullion Auzenne; his parents, Claude Auzenne and Hortensine Auzenne; his stepfather Dennis Auzenne; his brothers, Nelson Auzenne and Leo Warren Auzenne; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Fournier, John Gradney, Sr., James Meullion, Dudley Lemelle, Vincent Biagas, Sr., Augustine Lemelle Auzenne and Walita Auzenne.
He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Herpin (Allan) of Carrollton, TX; his grandchildren, Desmond Herpin of Baton Rouge and Devin Herpin of McKinney, TX; his siblings, Raymond Auzenne (Betty), Delton Auzenne, Claude Auzenne (Gloria), Mary Ann Fournier and Rose Gradney; and his sisters-in-law, Velma Lemelle, Theresa Hilda Biagas, Rosalie Meullion and Sandra Morgan Auzenne.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (818 12th St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
