He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Royer of Cankton. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lantier Royer of Lafayette; his sons, Brian Royer (Abby Reed) of Lafayette and Chance Royer (Delilah) of Round Rock, Texas; and his grandchildren, William Reed, Parker Reed, Hailey Royer, Mallory Royer of Chance, Royer, Jr. and Leah Finch.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
