He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Harvey Parrish and Dottie Hendricks Parrish; his wife Marilyn Rogers Parrish; and his sister Mary Jo Wannamaker. He is survived by: his children, Gary E. Parrish, Jr. of Baton Rouge and Amy P. Maronge (Michael) of Baton Rouge; his granddaughter Katherine E. Maronge; and his siblings, Ted Parrish (Donna), Ann Phillips (Wendell), Joy Alford and Janice Doss Owen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - Monroe (2308 Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA 71203). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery (623 US-80, Monroe, LA 71203).
