He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clement Maurin Jr. and Alice Mae Montz Maurin; his brother Gilbert "Gil" Maurin; and his grandson Evan Rex Letchworth. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Lee Maurin, Mark Brian Maurin, Hilary Ware Maurin (Ben Smith) and Michelle René Maurin (Kody Shellhouse); his grandchildren, Flynn Henry Smith, Nash Andrew Smith and Calla Ruth Smith; his partner's children, Elise, Meredith and Meghan; his brother Greg "Za" Maurin (Shelley Smith Maurin); and his nieces and nephews, Rachael, Carly and Alaney.
