He was predeceased by: his parents, Mable Joseph Ray and James Ray Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Shakia Simms (Davon Eugene Sr.), Josh Simms (Denise Simms) and Jockia Simms; his stepdaughters, Niccey and Trenessia Washington; his grandchildren, Taylexia, Davon Jr., Aniyah and Milan; his godchildren, Myshara Ceaser and LeRoideisha Day; his siblings, Herman Eugene Grady and Felicia Ray; and his cousin Marsha. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
