She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Griffin, Sr. and Elizabeth Andrus Griffin; her son David Lee Robertson; her siblings, Edna Griffin Guidry, Albert Griffin and Mitchell Alfred Griffin, Jr.; and her former husband Bodilly Matthews.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah "Debbie Doo" Robertson of Lafayette, LA and John Horace Robertson, Jr. (Cynthia) of Bakersfield, CA; and her goddaughter Gwendolyn Griffin Daigle of Lafayette, LA.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
