With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Gabriel Wiliiams III of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on July 28, 2022 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gabriel Pete Williams, Isabelle Portalis Williams, Milton Lynn McZeal and Mary Ella Bernard McZeal. He is survived by: his parents, Dianne McZeal Williams and Gilbert Gabriel "Gob" Williams Jr.; his wife Ruby Williams; his sister Deeya Marshea Williams (Jonathan Alfred); and his aunt Cynthia Francis (Oscar Francis). He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Syrie Funeral Home from 10:00 a. m. until 11:00 a. m. All those in attendance must wear a mask or face covering.
