She is survived by: her son Gareth Smith (Melissa) of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Damian Smith, Zoë Smith, Ariya Leal, Sabian Gatte, Maddy Champagne and Faith Bergeron; her great grandchild Kaydence LeBouef; and her sisters, Dorita Speyrer of Lafayette and Elaine Crockett (Barry) of Conroe, TX.. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
