He is survived by: his stepfather John Duchene; his wife Rose Mary August; his children, Connie Hines (Melancon) of Garland, TX, Kevin Melancon, Sr. of Lafayette, LA, Rachael Antoine of Frisco, TX and Alethea Robinson (Antoine); his brother Hayward Antoine of San Francisco, CA; and his grandchildren, Kevin Melancon, Jr. (Kevin Melancon, Sr.), Sydney (Kevin Melancon, Sr.), Troy Hines, III, Brock Antoine-Williams (Rachael Antoine) and Bryce Antoine Robinson (Alethea Antoine Robinson). He is also survived by two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
