It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey C. Broussard (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Broussard and Hilda C. Broussard; his sister-in-law Carolyn'Cookie'Broussard; and his in-laws, Percy and Neola A. Broussard.
He is survived by: his wife L. Fay B. Broussard; his children, Gay B. Wintersole (Mark) of San Antonio, TX and Neil (Kristi) of Dallas, TX; his stepchildren, Damian Dartez (Amy), Deidre D. Arceneaux (Robbie) of Prairieville, Duane Dartez (Liz) and Darrin Dartez (Tobie) of Abbeville; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Harper and Camden Broussard; his stepgrandchildren, Alexander, Anna, Mattie, Addisyn, Cameron, Saul, Jonathan Dartez, Gabriel, Aaron, Olivia Arceneaux and Lauren D. Campbell (Josh); his siblings, Phyllis B. Hale (Desmond) and Tommy Broussard; and also Lucy Raye Campbell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial donations to be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Wounded Warrior Project.
