She was predeceased by: her husband Callan J. White; her children, Eddie Dean White and Geraldine White-Broussard; her grandson Edmond White; her parents, Sidney Sonnier and Aline Mathieu Sonnier; her siblings, Jessie Sonnier, Joseph Roy "Bello" Sonnier, Helen Sonnier Bastian and Beatrice Sonnier; her godson Alfred "June" Dorion, Jr.; and her nephews, Clayton White, Jr., Johnny White and Ronnell Sonnier.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa "Liz" Hebert (Michael), Anthony White, Eugene White, Larry J. White and Ricky P. White; her siblings, Harold Sonnier (Donna), James "Jim" Sonnier (Evadale) and Mary Jane Sonnier; her sisters-in-law, Rita S. Sonnier and Katherine White; and her son-in-law C. Paul Broussard. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (818 12th St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A rosary was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
