He is survived by: his children, Loretta Solomon, Henry L. Eaglin Jr., Bernice O'Neal, Marvin Eaglin, James Eaglin Sr. and Eldridge Peterman. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (818 12th St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
