He was predeceased by: his parents, Dovice Manuel and Mathelda Rougeau; his former wife Rose Marie Duplechain; his wife Irene Benoit; and his siblings, Robert, Chester, Roy, Lee, Eldon Manuel, Helen Vidrine and Ruby Fruge.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Manuel (Nell) of Cankton, David Manuel (Connie) of Sunset, Jade Richard (Troy Richard) of Cankton, Becky Thomassee of Arnaudville and Tina Guilbeau (Rusty) of Sunset; and his siblings, Don Manuel (Linda) of Florence, AZ and Priscilla "Sis" Gauthier (Kirby) of Basile. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
