He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Non" Venable and Eleanor "Nonnie" Thibodeaux Venable; his wife Sherry Dupre; his son Thomas Herman Venable; and his brother Leroy Venable.
He is survived by: his former wife Leona Sue Leger of Lafayette, LA; his daughters, Annie Venable of Scott, LA and Becky Guidry (Lonnie) of Lafayette; his brothers, Sidney Venable (Marion) of Church Point, LA and Bernard Venable (Nellie) of Lafayette; his sister-in-law Anna Venable of Duson, LA; and his grandchildren, Valerie Palombo, Scotty Venable, Amber Bonnette, Jacob Guidry, Trevor Alleman and Thomas Watkins. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and his extended family.
