He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Trahan and Noella Comeaux; his wife Stella Monique Trahan; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Monique, Luther Gallet, Manuel Trahan and Wade Huval.

He is survived by: his sisters, Rena Trahan Gallet and Elda Trahan Huval; and his brother-in-law Norris Monique. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces & great-nephews.
