It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Huey Howard Miller Sr. (Lafayette, Louisiana), born in Basile, Louisiana, who passed away on September 6, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leopold Miller and Pauline Bellon Miller; his siblings, Myrtis M. Hoychick and Nathan M. Miller; his great grandchild Lily Alexandra Smith; and his son-in-law Michael E. Hilander.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Platt Miller; and his children, Sheri Miller Hilander, Kathy Miller Olivier (Mickey), Huey H. Miller Jr. (Karen), Julie Miller Mahfouz (Charles), Thomas D. Miller (Angie) and Paul B. Miller. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
