We bid farewell to Iva Marie Picou of Lafayette, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 20, 2026 at the age of 78. Iva touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest John Smith and Anna Meche; and her husband Ralph Picou. She is survived by: her sons, Jacob Haley (Cindy) and Casey Haley (Bruce Pontbriand); her stepdaughters, Lisa Picou and Tina Picou; her grandchildren, Jackson Haley, Walker Haley and Jerod Maddox; her stepgrandsons, Damien and Donovan Picou; her great grandchildren, Paisley and Parker Maddox; and her siblings, Betty Stanford and Jimmy Smith (Annette). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
